Describe two challenges you have overcome?

Two challenges I have overcome are that I am able to spend longer on my product to make it look nicer where-as before I would just rush into making the product to get it finished and not make it the best I could. I have also been able to look for pictures on the internet instead of taking my own. The pictures I found suit my advert more than if I had taken the pictures because they gave me what I needed most e.g. the dark gothic theme and the tattoos.

Describe two challenges you have overcome?

Two challenges which I have overcome are that I am able to use photoshop in a more complex way, I used inner and outer bevels to make the text and pictures stand out more, I inverted colours on pictures so they would stand out on the bright background and I was able to use a picture of a plain black tshirt and add band logos on to them so the pictures of the tshirts would be the same size. This made them look more in place rather just scattered everywhere.

do you feel that your product is suitable for target audience?

I do feel that my product is suitable for my target audience because I based my product on adverts I had seen in magazines like Kerrang! and Metal Hammer. The girl in my target audience profile looks like the type of girl I would be friends with therefore i believe that this advert would appeal to her because if I saw this advert it would appeal to me. I also gave out my questionnaire to a few of my friends who would also be in my target audience and they all said that this advert would appeal to them.

How has technology (computer, digital camera, printer) helped you turn your design into a real product?

Computer technology has helped me finish my product by letting me access photoshop which has let me blend pictures and text together to make the advert. I have used the Internet to find the perfect text, the right models and right pictures to make my product become real. I have used a personal printer to keep a copy of my advert, but if I wanted a large quantity printed or printed into a magazine I would go to an industrialized printing press.

How does your finished product compare to your design?

My finished product is very different to my design because when I was making my advert on photoshop, I did not like the way it was going when I followed my design therefore I decided to change it to make the advert look better. In my design I drew 4 models standing infront of a lake or in a forrest but in my finished advert I only used 2 models on a colourful background. The models are wearing black so they stand out against the bright background. I used other pictures of brands and pictures of band t-shirts so people can see what they are buying when they go on to the website.

My advert fits all the CAP codes used by the ASA because

my advert has no nudity, alcohol or tobacco which means it is suitable to show children under the age of 18. The advert also shows what tshirts are half price which means that the advert is trueful.
